    New York, N.Y., 1846, 5¢ black on bluish, signed "ACM" connected, double transfer at bottom, Positions 2-3, horizontal pair, large margins clearly showing variety, canceled solely by two strikes of New York red square grid and right with partial cds , Very Fine.

    New York, N.Y., 1846, 5¢ black on bluish, signed "ACM" connected, Positions 38-39, large to huge margins all around, sharp impressions, each canceled solely by Boston red circular grids leaving design mostly clear; left stamp with internal vertical cut, Extremely Fine appearance.

    Providence, R.I., 1846, 10¢ gray black, four margins, canceled by neat manuscript check mark and part of red "Providence R.I." cds, faint small stain spot in right margin, Very Fine and exceptionally rare used, ex-Erivan ; with 2024 P.F. certificate.
