1852-57 3¢ Cover Group - Advertising Covers, group of 22 including a few illustrated, note #11 on Essex Seminary building ad cover, #25 on New Free Stone Block illustrated ad showing piano, Union Mutual Insurance Co. Boston Mass. ad cover showing state seal, #26 on allover Wolff & Hopper Fancy Goods St. Louis Mo. shaded building ad cover, #11 on Massasoit House, Springfield Mass. blue cameo style ad cover, many nice printed corner cards, etc.; few flaws, overall Very Fine and clean group.

1852 3¢ Imperf - Red Cancels, group of 9 covers comprising 8 singles and a pair, all with red cancels except for one with red postmark, includes Newport R.I. with red "Paid"; Windsor Hill Ct. red "Paid"; Loretto Pa. unusual cds (x-Cole), Salem Mass.; Montgomery N.Y. (inverted "N"); and five from Lancaster Pa. in two dstinct red canceling ink including one XF pair (pos. 9-10L3), Very Fine and attractive group.

1852-57 3¢ Cover Group, better group of 36 covers with a range of colors, plates, etc, imperf and perf, note #26 New Orleans "Way", #11A New York Express Mail, #11A red Lancaster Pa., #26 Lykens Pa. fancy diamond cds, #26 Whitewater Wisc. five-ring target, some advertising, etc; nice, F.-V.F., a nice group with some pretty covers.

1852-57 3¢ Boston Mass. "Paid" Collection, group of 13 covers with a variety of markings, stamps and covers, nice clean strikes including a rare " Due 3 Cts. " straightline, one large Custom House envelope, overall Very Fine or better.

1857, 3¢ dull red, type III - High Quality Cover Group, 28 singles on cover, selected for clearest of markings, quality and cleanliness, stamp color and freshness, broad range of colors, saturated, some extremes, all colorized, most by Amonette, relatively common covers in very uncommon quality, towns from states: MS, IL, NY. CT, CA, OH, NJ, WI, MI, MD (Due 3), VA, NH, PA., Extremely Fine, A fabulous grouping and must view lot!
