1851, 3¢ orange brown - Used Group, group of 10 singles, one plated 47L5E, rest plateable, several four margins with a range of shades, note some nice cancels including New York 11-bar and 13-bar cancels, rare 17mm blue grid, red grid, etc, each with fault, F.-V.F.

1852, 3¢ dull red - Used Group, group of 36 singles from plates 1L, 2L, 3, 6, 7 with nine plated and rest plateable, nice margins and shades, a range of cancels, including "Paid", "Paid 3", town cds's, colors of blue, red and green, etc., clean and F.-V.F. group.

1852, 3¢ dull red - Used Group, group of 40 stamps in singles and two pairs, some great colors, one stitch watermark, several plated including 83R3, 74L3, 64-74L3, 82L1L, 75-76R3, 7R2L, 30R1L, 96L1L, 70L3, 90R4, some striking cancels including brown, red, orange red and blue strikes, stars, grids, red diamond, grids, "Paid 3", seven without flaws, overal clean F.-V.F. group.

1852, 3¢ dull red - Texas Cancels, group of six town cds cancels comprising red Burkeville on piece, brown San Antonio on piece, brown Douglas balloon-style on piece (D eroded), brown Sherman on piece, and two Crockett strikes; some flaws, F.-V.F. and scarce group.

1857, 3¢ dull red, type III - Selected Cancel Group, group of 21 stamps comprising singles and one pairs, selected for cancel color, overall appearance, note strikes in dark green , light green , olives (3), brown (2), blue, ultramarine and red (10), minimal flaws, F.-V.F. and pretty group, a particularly difficult group with greens and olives.

1857, 3¢ dull red, type III - Cancel Group, group of 50 stamps in singles and three pairs collected for cancels and strikes, most with very fine strikes, includes strikes in blue, red and purple, note Davenport Ia. radial, early Columbus Oh. prison bars, New Haven red diamond grid, Elmira N.Y. blue iron cross, other nice geometrics, odd targets, grids, etc, some flaws, overall clean and Very Fine strikes.

1857, 3¢ dull red, type III - Fancy Cancels, group of 12 including double small blue star, "Free" in oval, "3" in Circle, Mittineague Mass. Square & Compass in Circle, Greenville Ct. Cross, Jersey Shore Star with center circle, Downievile Cal. segmented star, Morrisania N.Y. radial, New Galilee rubber stopper, etc.; some flaws, all with Very Fine to Extremely Fine strikes, a scarce group.

1857, 3¢ dull red, type III - Paid Cancels, group of 25 stamps in singles and three pairs, wide variety of different paid cancels including strikes in blue and red, note Providence red "Paid" in Circle, Hanover blue "Paid" in oval, Greensborough N.C. blue "Paid" strikes on pair, "Paid 3" strikes, several Boston "Paid", etc., few faults, F.-V.F. and scarce Paid group.
