Ohio Advertised Covers, 1840-1916, lot of 60 covers. Five items are stampless, a couple of foreign originated items to Cleveland. Great representation of smaller Ohio towns like Jefferson, Piqua, Portsmouth, Springfield, Xenia and variety with Cleveland and Columbus. Inspect the backside for interesting strikes. Highlights include 1863 single straight line "ADVERTISED" Delaware with Due 3, also 1901 morning cover canceled in Frankford also with other advertised and unclaimed markings, another has 1893 purple oval "ADVERTISED" to Akron. Also saw PO card showing MODEL FORM OF ADDRESS. Close inspection will yield some great finds. some faults, F.-V.F. groups.
