The "Countess" of 198 tons was built at Cincinnati in 1860, owned by Capt. William C. Harrison with Captain George W. Wilson as Master. It burned at Alexandria in March 1864 to avoid capture by Union forces.

Josiah Fink, In Senate" in Albany N.Y., entered mails at Albany with red manuscript " B " (boat) and "18¾" rating, Very Fine strike.

Regular Vicksburg Yazoo & Tallahatchie Friday Packet Warren Belle, printed scroll corner card on 3¢ pink (U59) buff entire from the Carroll Hoy correspondence to New Orleans La. entered mails with "McNutt Miss Aug 20" cds and matching target canceling indicia, carried by post road to Greenwood and put onto Route 7202 for Vicksburg, then transferred to Route 8106 for New Orleans; partial flap and small opening flaw at top, Very Fine, ex-Feldman .
